What Ritual records

When you choose to record, Ritual captures browser workflow events such as navigation, clicks, changes, selected text labels, copy and paste actions, and context-menu actions. It can optionally capture focused screenshots of interaction areas and technical XPath metadata.

Ritual does not intentionally record typed input values or pasted clipboard contents. Avoid recording pages containing credentials, payment information, health data, or other sensitive content unless your organization has approved that use.

Where your data lives

Captured workflows, screenshots, branding assets, settings, and AI configuration are stored locally in your browser extension storage. Ritual does not include a hosted workflow-sync service.

AI providers

Ollama can be configured to run locally. If you configure a third-party AI provider, your API key is stored locally by the extension and requests to that provider are subject to its own terms and privacy policy.

Exports and sharing

PDFs and SKILL.md files are generated on your device. Once you export or share a file, you control where it goes and who can access it.

License checks

When you activate a Ritual Pro license, the extension sends the license key to Lemon Squeezy’s license-validation endpoint to verify entitlement.

Your choices

You can remove individual steps and screenshots, clear active recordings, delete saved workflows, and uninstall the extension at any time. Removing the extension deletes its browser-managed local storage.
